Referring and Scheduling
Referrals to our forensic group are received from a variety of sources, including government entities or agencies, attorneys, and other companies.  BCI can receive referrals as an agency for assignment to qualified professionals as well as to individual clinicians.  BCI professionals routinely accept referrals from state Circuit Courts, Corporation Counsel, Social Security Administration, Department of Vocational Rehabilitation, defense attorneys, the Office of the District Attorney, an employer or other agency.

To make a referral to BCI or to one of our qualified practitioners, please call (414) 271-5577.  You will then be directed to an examiner who performs the service required.

To help the referral process, please be prepared to discuss briefly the nature of the evaluation needed and related details.  You will then provide you with an estimate of the length of time to complete services and an appointment date and time.  Evaluations can occur in our offices in Milwaukee or off-site, depending upon your client’s circumstances.

Billing/Payment
Billing is handled on a case-by-case basis.  Typically, the referral source versus the examinee is responsible for the costs of services rendered.  An estimate of the cost of an evaluation can be obtained at the time of referral.  Due to the nature of forensic examinations, we are unable to submit to insurance.
